Tonight's the night...

Tonight's the night. Tonight's the night. Tonight's the night. Tonight's the night.
Tonight's the night. Tonight's the night. Tonight's the night. Tonight's the night.

I suppose you get the point. And I should say today was the day, but oh well...

Kevin picked me up at Concord Academy this morning and I'M FINALLY GOING HOME!!! Good-bye attention-hogging siblings! It is all about me now. Dudley, the pet store dog. Dudley, the book store dog. Dudley, the High Archu of Tara!

I win!

But the birds still scare me.

Anyway... When Kevin and I got to work, my day really started. We scooped fish, fed and watered the small animals. And my personal favorite: we walked around the store with a clipboard looking real important like. Today (Wednesday) is Wolverton Day. April came in and helped Kevin order all sorts of goodies for me.

Let me tell you. Being the dog of a pet store owner is awesome. I highly recommend it! No, really. I do.

As I was saying, they ordered lots of stuff for me. In-ground fencing, a training collar (not that I have to be trained), a bed, y'know the works.

And I napped. And April walked me. And I napped. And then we went to this place that smelled really good (like human food) but was really noisy. And I had to walk down 'stairs', which wasn't bad. They were kind of intimidating when I had to look at them from the other angle. That is going up, not down them. I started following Kevin and tried to walk the same way he did (two legs), but I forgot about the back legs.

Mental note: I have back legs.

After we got back from the stairs, I took a nap. And when no one was looking, I woke up. I'm a polite dog. I don't want to make anyone take me out if they don't have anyone to watch the counter at the store, so I walked over to a quiet corner and relieved myself.

Kevin says I need obdience training.

That was most of my day. I'll be at Tropic Cove 'til Kevin closes, then I get to spend my evening in Horizon Books with April. Kevin has to move furniture out to the new house. April and me get to take it easy.

Okay... That took a lot outta me. I hope you'll stop in and see me soon!

Off for a nap,
dudley
